Autumn Leaves     Autumn is one of my favorite seasons!   There is so much to love.  The cool crisp days, harvest time, the beautiful leaves changing colors,  getting cozy by the woodstove,  family and friends gathering together for the different festivities.  It gives me a warm feeling just thinking about it.

Winter follows with it’s own lovely qualities as well.   For those who live in the Northern Hemisphere, this includes the wonderful diversity of the holidays and ringing in the New Year.  Depending on where you live in the world, it can be more or less  a challenging time of year due to extreme weather.  Yet, it’s a wonderful time to nest, go within, be reflective and creative while getting inspired for Spring.

In honor of this wonderful time of year, I am excited to share some yummy smoothie recipes that were  created specially to bring out the best of Autumn and Winter.  Most importantly, not only do they taste delicious,  they will help support your immune system and keep you energized well into Spring.

These recipes have been perfected by Shay Johnson, a super inspiring woman,  virtual mentor, teacher and healer.  She is a Holistic Nutritionist who helps women with autoimmune and chronic health issues.  I am super grateful for her generous value , wisdom and information she graciously  shares with others.  Check her out here : Shay’s Blog
